Edith’s Montessori Preschool is distinguished from many other Preschools in Vancouver in embracing the cultural diversity of the local area. Its 30-40 yearly students reflect a cultural, ethnic and linguistic makeup found nowhere else in the lower Mainland.
It is our firm belief that children who interact with a peer group from a diverse cultural and ethnic range will be less likely to carry prejudice into adulthood. We therefore encourage student entrance from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds with the goal of graduating a more socially and culturally aware class of students.
